Psychological evaluations are grouped into several domains, such as Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Specific Learning Disability (SLD) for 1st grade through college level, Social Emotional/Personality Functioning and Gifted.   All evaluations are comprehensive to the aspect of answering the referral question. 

Gifted Evaluation:  Consists of an IQ  test and background information.  Cost = $400

SLD evaluations: Varies based on referral question, costs typically below industry standards.  College SLD evaluations can rule-out a need for waived classes or college academic support, assisting in getting through those repeatedly failed courses.
 
Rorschach: Due to the time consuming aspect of the administration, scoring, and interpreting, a separate cost is applied to incorporating the Rorschach into an assessment.  I will also incorporate a history review, a clinical interview and an objective measure with this administration.  There is an $800 cost for this evaluation, which can stand alone or be incorporated into a comprehensive assessment with an additional cost.

All evaluations that are paid for out of pocket requires a 50% deposit upon initiation of the evaluation and the 50% ballance upon receipt of the evaluation.  Insurance providers may authorize payment but they DO NOT authorize SLD evaluations.  All deductibles must be paid prior to insurance authorization, meaning that the client will be responsible for what the insurance WOULD HAVE paid, typically $70/hr charged.  Finally, even with insurance authorizations for psychological evaluations, your customary co-pay may be assessed per hour of evaluation.  Veryify with your insurance prior to testing.
